Doc Wine is a Java Mobile Software database with all the Italian DOC and DOCG wines (more than 300 wines for a total of about 800 varieties) . You can search wines by the wine-making regions of Italy or by the wine names. DOC means "Denominazione di origine controllata" and DOCG means "Denominazione di origine controllata e garantita". DOC and DOCG wines are produced in specific well-defined regions, according to specific rules designed to preserve the traditional wine-making practices of the individual regions. The appellations DOC and DOCG guarantee the high quality of the wine.
